EP3 Team

Meet the EP3 Team

The EP3 Initiative team is working to create the Effective Practices for Physics Programs Guide, to train physics program leaders and reviewers in how to use the Guide through workshops and online communities, to conduct research on the impact of the Guide, and to develop a plan for ongoing review and improvement of the Guide.

The EP3 Guide was developed by the APS Best Practices for Undergraduate Physics Programs (BPUPP) Task Force (2016-2022). The American Physical Society (APS) and the American Association of Physics Teachers (AAPT) established the EP3 Editorial Board (EP3 Board) to oversee ongoing development of the Effective Practices for Physics Programs (EP3) Guide. General oversight of the EP3 Board is provided by the APS Committee on Education (COE).

If you’d like to talk to us about the Initiative, please contact us at ep3@aps.org.
