Sean M. Costello is the Education and Diversity Programs Specialist at the American Physical Society (APS) where he currently works on the Effective Practices for Physics Programs Initiative (EP3), coordinates the EP3 HBCU Site Visit Program, and provides administrative support to the APS Committee on Education (COE) and the NSF Physics REU Leadership Group (NPRLG). His past experience includes performing arts management at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts and administrative coordination at the National Gallery of Art. Sean lived in Montana for 8 years, working on trail crews in the Selway-Bitterrot National Wilderness and logistics management for the Western Montana Growers Cooperative, taking a break in the winter of 2014 to work as an Alaskan sled dog handler at the Wolf’s Den Kennel in Cantwell, Alaska.
